I am currently working with a salon owner on providing an ASD-friendly hair cut environment. We're planning to train staff on autism and strategies & tips to helping the individual with ASD get through the haircut without trauma. We are even looking at creating a sensory room specifically for those who have higher anxiety and pain when experiencing a haircut. The pilot will start at once a month, then we're moving to once a week. If you are interested, please send me your email address and I will keep you on our list for notifications.
