[Autism Society Greater Tucson] [FWD: Inclusion workshop invitation this Saturday, 9/13/14]

Inclusive Practices Part 2:

Building a shared vision through the Inclusive IEP
This FREE special education workshop will help you learn how the IEP, when worded and constructed thoughtfully, can help teams deliver on the promise of appropriately supporting students who have highly individual needs in inclusive settings, while helping educators to access resources necessary to make it all work. Participants will also learn the top ten mistakes made in the IEP process, and how to avoid them, and will learn how to design objectives that have maximum learning value in general education. Plus, an update on new resources for attaining high quality, successful transitions. Thought  IEPs couldn't be fun? Think again! Join us for an empowering and thought-provoking day, as we re-examine practices and assumptions with an eye to the future.
