Too little, too late! Proposed Budget is Detrimental to DDD Families and Providers!

AAPPD in collaboration with the Arizona Autism Coalition needs your assistance contacting your legislators and Governor Brewer regarding the DDD Provider Rescue Funding. Our situation is very dire and we need our families receiving DDD Services to contact their legislators today! As of today, April 30, the budget has now been changed to the following:

  • 5% rate recovery has now been reduced to 2%, which will not take effect until April 1, 2013! This 2% is too little, too late! DDD providers are already losing, or have lost, valuable employees due to the drastic reduction in reimbursement!
  • Legislature has swept 34 mil from the Long Term Care fund to the Temporary Cash Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) fund (last year 30 mil was swept from Long Term Care fund to general fund)! We understand that families in need are especially vulnerable, however our families are already losing too much.

Please call and email your own legislators and the following:
CLICK HERE TO FIND YOUR OWN LEGISLATORS AND PLEASE CONTACT THE FOLLOWING LEGISLATORS:

AND TO THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE (please call): (602) 542-4331
Explain why the proposed budget is too little, too late and how your business or family has suffered from all of the budget cuts.
